YEC in a few words.

Youth unemployment rates in Greece (31.4%), Italy (25.3%) and Bulgaria (15.1%) are unfortunately above the EU average (14%). In fact, Greece is in first place and Italy in third. Unemployed young people face difficulties in integrating into society, and the largest part of the rate concerns young people with fewer opportunities, especially those with disabilities or in rural areas where there are not many jobs. Through this project, we aim to create a youth entrepreneurship center and provide non-formal and informal learning opportunities for the educational and vocational reintegration of NEET (Not in Employment, Education and Training) young people, young people with disabilities and young people with fewer opportunities. In addition, we aim to establish a network that will engage stakeholders, young people, youth workers and policy makers to contribute to the improvement of the labour systems in our countries. With the expression of "youth entrepreneurship center" we do not mean an NGO or association. We mean an alliance that will collect all our work together.
